Lone Pine was founded on 1927 and already become must visit place in Brisbane. Beside that, this place also for taking care and injured sick koalas.
What to Do

30 Minutes later, I arrive at the entrance of Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The entrance fee are about AUD 36 (adults), AUD 22 (3 - 13 years old), and free for children under 3 years old. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the world's first and largets koala sanctuary with over 130 koalas. Moreover, this park also become home of Kangaroo and other Australians animals.

Other activity that you can do in Lone Pine are cuddle and take picture with the koalas. It'll be add extra cost about AUD 20 for one shoot.

Beside cuddle with Koala, you can also fee the kangaroos in this park. Kangaroo is one of Autralian animals which you can find here, beside there are also crocodile, Dingoes, Raptors, Southern Cassowary and Tasmanian Devil.

How to Get There

Hi guys, this summer vacation I spent it in Australia again, but I'm not gonna explore Sydney. This time, I'm going to visit Brisbane, Queensland. Starting my journey from Jakarta to Brisbane by Qantas Airlines at 7 pm yesterday and arrive in Brisbane at  8.30 this morning. This trip take more than 12 hours and I've to transit at Sydney first. After check in at hotel for put my belongings and wash my face, I go to my first destination, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. If you don't bring any car, you can took taxi or bus number 430 from Platfrom 2C Queen Street Station or bus number 445 from Stop 40 Adelaide Street. Tips and Trick lone pine koala sanctuary

Need three until four hours to explore this Lone Pine and so many things you can do. Beside feeding kangaroos and cuddling with koalas, you can watch the show of raptors, barn owl and white bellied sea eagle which very amazing. This show already included the ticket and you don't have to pay additional cost. This sanctuary is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, including public holiday. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes because you'll walk during explore this zoo. Bring camera for capturing moment with the koalas and other unique Australian animals. Don't gift any strange things to the animal and always keep this place clean.
