Some people are not familiar with Honolulu Cafe, but they offers such a good meals. I was curious and want to taste their famous egg tarts, so before heading to Nan Lian Garden, I stop at this cafe for breakfast. Located at 176 - 178 Hennessy Rd, Wan Chai, Hongkong, you can reach it by uwing some public transportations. This cafe is open daily from 6 am to 12 am, so it's a perfect choice to stop by before you starting the day. This cafe is not too big, but its always crowded.

This cafe menu are quite remind me about Australian Dairy Company. I had breakfast set which consist of scrambled egg with bun, spaghetti soup with luncheon meat and a cup of Hongkong milk tea. The scrambled egg that I had was fluffy and savoury and the bun is very soft. The spaghetti was good and the soup was very tasty. Overall, the breakfast set are good, but the menu that I love most is the egg tart. The egg tart was served to us piping hot. The crust, still smoking was flaky and slightly savoury. The custard was smooth pudding that was sweet and eggy.

If you just want the sweet snacks, they have their bakery section. The egg tarts are definitely a must buy bakery when you visit this cafe. The staff said that the egg tarts could be stored up to 2 days if they kept refrigerated. So, you can bring it home and enjoy it with your family.
