For you who want spend your weekend in Singapore, I suggest you to visit one of best dessert in this city. When I visit Singapore Botanic Garden, I found ice cream shop near the garden. This ice cream shop named Sunday Folk which located in 44 Jalan Merah Saga, #01-52 Chip Bee Gardens. You can grab taxi or take MRT to this place. Sunday folk is an independent dessert cafe which the name takes inspiration that one could enjoy a moment of laid-back Sunday Vibe.
This cafe has minimalis design and many tables inside. But, if you come in the weekend you have to be patient to wait, because so many people line up.
This dessert cafe offers fresh churned ice creams, Belgian waffles, cakes and curated rane of beverages such as artisan teas, specialty coffeess and craft beers. All of the desserts was made from premium ingredients to the makin of homamde toppings with own original recipes and paying homage to the freshness and tastefulness of the desserts.
The sweet treats at Sunday Folks do not just look good, they has good taste also. Moreover, waffles will only be baked after your order is taken and the same applies to the preparation of the freshly churned ice cream. That's why you have to be patient to wait about 15 minutes to taste this fresh waffle. Unfortunately, they only have six ice cream flavours to choose from, they are Dark Chocolate, Earl Grey Lavender, Roasted Pistachio, Sea Salt Gula Melaka and Summer Strawberried, which each portion comes with preselected toppings.
I taste the ice cream cone with price about SDG 8 and ice cream on a waffle slice with price SGD 9. This ice cream waffle paired with with blueberries, sliced starberryies, maple syrup and chocolate hazelnut sauce. Very yummy and sweet!
