Botatung Pagoda was built 2500 years ago by the Mon people, but in the second World War, this pagoda was destroyed during an airforce bombing mission at nearby docks. After that, it rebuild again on 1948. In the center of the tiled platform stands the main stupa which surrounded by a number of small stupas. This main stupa is the most unique feature in this pagoda, while almost all stupas are closed to the public, this stupa is hollow and visitors can walk through it.

Like others Burmese building, this market has typical architecture of Myanmar. Very classic! Inside this market, there are about 1641 shops and devide into four wings. It's open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and close on gazzete holiday. Looking around and and finding some souvenirs, clothes and handicraft in this market is very fun and comfortable. Moreover, the price is very cheap :)

Tips and Trick the golden land myanmar

This actually my last day of traveling around Myanmar because tomorrow I have to go back to Indonesia. If you are going to visit pagoda, don't forget for always wearing polite shoes and put off your shoes. In Maha Bandula Park, you're not allowed litter, bring pets, damage the flowers and the park clean. This is my always-advise when you visit Myanmar, don't forget to wear sunscreen, wear hat or bring umbrella and bring you own water because the weather is very sunny :)

Well, that's all about my trip in Myanmar. See you on my next detination :)
