How to Get There
Hi guys, back in Beijing for this Spring and I'm going to visit Xiangshan Park or known as Fragrant Hill. This park is in the suburb of northeastern Beijing, 20 kilometers from central city. To getting here, you can take bus no 318, 360 Express, 714, 698, 331 or 696 and get off at Xiang Shan Station. Or, you can take Subway Line 4 to Beigongmen Station and get off from Exit A then transfer to Bus no 331 or 696 to Xiangshan Station.

No doubt, this park is among the most beautiful parks in autumn because of its red leaves. But have you ever visited the park in spring? In spring, this park is one of the most beautiful places when spring rolls on, not because of its red leaves but of its lush trees and flowerbeds hidden at the corners of the hills. Xiangshan park is described as a famous scenic spot that has a long history and beautiful landscape.
Xiangshan Park occupies an area of more than 16.000 square meters and the highest mountain is called Censer Peak. Also, there are various hills, guillies and clean springs with good tasting water.
This park was named the fragrant one due to two reasons, the stalactite on the top of the hill looks like a censer and the smell of the apricot blossom makes the hill fragrant. This park consist of plants, the percentage of forest cover there exceeds 96% with over 5800 valuable trees.

Tips and Trick
Xiangshan Park is open all year aroun, on April - June, this park is open from 6 am to 6.30 pm, on July to August open from 6 am to 7 pm, on September to March 6 am to 6 pm. The admission fee is about 10 Yuan and 5 Yuan for students. Don't forget to bring camera and always keep this place clean.
