Hi guys, finally I go back to Vietnam for some short holiday. Starting my journey from Surabaya to Ho Chi Minh City by using Airasia and transit in Kuala Lumpur. Arriving at Ho Chi Minh airport I take bus to Pham Ngu Lao by using bus.
What to Do
Pham Ngu Lao Street is a famous street for backpackers in Vietnam. This street is located on the western edge of District 1 and is renowned as the place where most backapcking travelers stay during their holiday. This place have unique vibe draws people from everywhere due to its close proximity to prominent landmarks in Ho Chi Minh City.
Because I arrive in Ho Chi Minh it's evening already, so I directly check in at hotel. After check in and bath, I walk around Pham Ngu Lao street and looking for a place for dinner. Along this street, you can find many western style restaurants, coffee shops, bars, tour companies, motels, hostels, guesthouses, internet cafes, pharmacies and souvenirs and craft shops.
This street is always crowded with many travelers who prefer to enjoy local street food or watching while enjoying the incredibly cheap bia hoi draught beer on the roadside. So do I, afer have dinner, I just walking around this street while enjoy the atmosphere of Pham Ngu Lao before I go back to hotel for rest and continue to my next destination tomorrow.
