After visit Amer Fort and tasting Lassiwala, I continue my trip to City Palace which only 11 kilometers away from Amer Fort. City Palace is located in the center of Jaipur city, you can reach there by using taxi or other public transportation.
City Palace is one of impressive building in Jaipurwith vast array of gardens, buildings and courtyards which are arranged in a linear series. It's a unique and interesting complex or in other words you can say it is a multiplex which includes verity of products of its. There ara several palaces, courtyards, gardens and temples like Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas "Sarvtobdhra", 36 workshop and govind dev ji temple.
There are three entry gates for entering in the complex of City Palace. All of the gates are very big and richly decorated, their name are Virendra Pol, Udai Pol and the Tripolia Gate. If you enter to the City Palace complex from Udai Pol, it will leads you to Diwan-e-Aam. From Varendra Pol will leads to Mubarak Mahal and The Tripola gate is reserved for the royal family only where only royal family members and friends can enter through the tripolia gate into the city palace.
This palace was constructed by Maharajasa Sawai Jai Singh II have traditional paintings made from organic colors and wooden replicas of the monuments. This palace a paradise for art and history lovers because the building is marvelous.

City Palace is open daily from 9.30 am until 5 pm and need 2 hours to explore the whole complex. The entrance fee is about INR 2500 and it's still worth to visit. The best time to visit this palace is between October and March when the weather is relatively cooler. For exploring this place, you can take guide or audio guide for INR 200 and you can take it on the entrance gate. So, interesting to visit? ;)
