Hi guys, last night I was arived at this city and this is my second day in Yangon, so I'm going to city tour here. This day I'll go to few tourism places in Yangon and the first destination is Chauk htat gyi Temple. This Temple is located in the Tamwe township of Central Yangon on Shwe Gon Taing street, only 1,2 kilometers from my hotel so I decide to walk.
Only need 15 minutes then I arrive at Chauk htat gyi Temple, after that I buy entrance fee around USD 5 per person which used for the upkeep of the temple grounds and the Reclining Buddha image as well as for the education of local monks of the Ashay Tawya monastery. This temple is open daily from 6 am until 8 pm. Chauk Htat Gyi temple is house of the biggest and most graceful Reclining Buddha statues in South East Asia. This 65 meters statue was completed in 1907, it's wearing a golden robe and the right arm of the Buddhe is supporting the back of the head.
This Reclining Buddha decorated with very expressive colors, white face, red lips, blue eye shadow, golden robe and red finger nails. Moreover, this temple contains a mural of a long line of followers of the Buddha, with the Buddha and the first few of his followersappearing to come out the painting.

Next destination is visiting Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda which located in Bahan township of Yangon, just across the street from the Chauk Htat Gyi Temple. This pagoda open daily from 6 am to 8 pm and the entrance fee is around MMK 2000 per person, this price is include a bottle of cold water. Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda is very bog seated statue of the Buddha which has high 20.5 feet. This statue was donated by Prince Minyedeippa on 1558 and known as "Five story of Buddha".

Nga Htat Gyi Buddha Statue is inside a large iron pavilion, kind of golden dome which topped with a multi tiered hti, such as ornamental spire shaped like an umbrella. The way to this temple also consist of murals, including depictions of Buddist Hell, where sinners receive punishment for their sins.
Satisfied explore Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda, my trip continue to Kandawagyi Lake. This lake located in east of the Shwedagon Pagoda and I grab taxi from Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda. Only 17 mintues and I arrive in this beautiful Lake. Kandawagyi Lake open daily until 10 pm. I buy entrance fee to Karaweik Palace where is one location with Kandawagyi Lake around MMK 300.

Karaweik Palace is one of famous landmark in Yangon, from the distance this palace looks lika a huge golden barge floating on Kandawgyi Lake, glittering in the sun in the morning but in the dark it lit up in spotlights, so the golden stupa reflecting in the water of Lake Kandawagyi. Inside this palace, there are reception halls, conference rooms, buffet restaurant and theaters.
I have my lunch here because there are so many variants of dishes such as Chinesse, Burmese and Western food which I can enjoy while watching a varietyof traditional Burmese entertaiment.
Finish lunch, I walk around this palace while taking picture before I continue to the next destination..
Continue to the next destinatioin, I come to visit Shwedagon Pagoda. This pagoda only 2 kilometers away from Karaweik Palace, so I walk and it only need 10 minutes to arrive there. The temple is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm with admission fee USD 5 per person. If you need guide, it'll cost around USD 10 for one hour. The first time I saw this tample I'm very impressed, this is the most famous landmark in Myanmar which the high until 99 meters. Shwedagon Pagoda also known ad Golden Pagoda because, its plated by gold with diamond studded spire set on top of a small hill in downtown Yangon dominates the area and is visible from much of the city.
Moreover, it's Burma's most important Buddist pilgrimage site which the main stupa enxhines sacred relics of the Gautama Buddha as well as the three previous Buddhas. Since then, many devotees come here everyday, they walk around the stupa and make offerings to the Buddha.

Well, I already satisfied walking around here and feel little bit hungry. So, I'm going back to Karaweik Palace for having dinner. In the evening, there is entertaining show in this hall, so I have my dinner while watching this show. FYI guys, for watching this show you should pay the tickets around MMK 4000.

After dinner, we'll go back to Hotel by using taxi for rest and continue to my next trip tomorrow :)
Well guys, if you are going to visit all of these places, better you bring your own drinks and snack, because you'll walk and the weather is very sunny. Also wear comfortable shoes, polite dress and sunglasses. Don't forget to bring camera for camputing moment and good photo spot in all of this place :)
